Embossed Carrier Tape

Embossed carrier tape is mainly used in the electronic component mounting industry.  It is used in conjunction with a cover tape (upper seal tape) to store the components in the pocket of the carrier tape, and forms a closed packaging by sealing the cover tape above the carrier tape, preventing physical and static damage, while also protecting the components from contamination and damage during transportation.  When electronic components are mounted on a chip, the cover tape strip is peeled off.  The automatic mounting device accurately locates the components in the pocket through the index hole of the carrier strip, and then installs the chip on the integrated circuit board .
