Embossed Carrier Tape Of Production Control Process

1. Incoming Material Inspection (IQC) : Test the purchased carrier tape raw materials (plastic particles, base paper) to confirm the material composition and environmental friendliness (such as compliance with RoHS and REACH).

2. Process Inspection (IPQC) : Sampling inspection during the production process, with a focus on monitoring the dimensional stability and appearance defects of the extrusion/stamping process.

3. Finished Product Inspection (FQC) : Full inspection or sampling inspection of the size, appearance and physical properties of the finished carrier tape. Non-conforming products should be isolated and treated.

4. Batch traceability: Each batch of carrier tape is marked with the production batch, date, and inspection result, facilitating the traceability of subsequent quality issues.
Physical performance test of the sealing between the carrier tape and the Cover tape

- Tensile strength/elongation at break: Ensure the tear resistance of the carrier tape, suitable for high-speed pull tapes of automatic packaging machines;

- Thermal stability: Plastic carrier tapes need to be tested for dimensional change rate at high temperatures (such as 60℃ to 80℃) to prevent deformation after packaging.

- Peel force: After adhering to the cover tape, the peel force should be within the specified range (such as 50g to 200g).  If it is too large, it will be difficult to open the cover;  if it is too small, it is prone to material leakage.

- Packaging compatibility:

- The adhesion strength with the cover tape (such as heat-sealing cover tape, pressure-sensitive cover tape), and test whether the heat-sealing temperature/pressure is matched.

The smoothness of the carrier tape when passing through the surface mount machine track, without any jamming or offset issues.
