They can also be divided into black plastic thin carrier tapes and transparent plastic thin carrier tapes according to color. Black plastic thin carrier tapes have excellent conductivity, but their production cost is high, and the number of domestic enterprises with independent production capabilities is relatively small, with a high dependence on imports. Transparent plastic thin carrier tapes belong to the middle and low-end plastic thin carrier tapes, with poor conductivity and anti-static properties, mainly used for the packaging of simple electronic components such as capacitors and rectifying diodes.
